Open the PCB Editor

BOM

In the “Schematic Editor” -> “Tools” -> “Edit Symbol Fields”

Set the “Coloumn Label” to match the following:

From KiCAD Name (Field) JLC
KiCAD Reference Designator
KiCAD Value Comment
KiCAD Footprint Footprint
Custom Supplier Part Number LCSC
Custom Package JLC
Custom Manufacturer Manufacturer
Custom Manufacturer Product Number MFR Part #

Once set up this can be saved as a preset.

Further reading:

JLC do offer automated software to do this for you, however you still need to set up the LCSC and JLC fields manually. I was also not conviced the software would work if you used a flatplack insulation. I did however use this page to set up all the above feilds along with example BOMs and placement files.
